Beginning to a new week!

I hear some people are already headed back to school this week,

Good luck to all of you!

As promised I present the motivational Monday quote for the week.

When I first found this quote I thought it was so important, I sent it to everyone.

We spend our time doing some of the same routines over and over,

And I know personally I never really think about how I spend my time day in and out.

But I'm sure if I had $86,400 I would really think about how I was spending my money.

Summer Reading List

Happy Saturday!

Today, I finished my tenth book of the summer!

I love to read but I just find it difficult during the school year.

Between juggling papers, projects, working full time, and then my personal life

I feel like I never have time to sit down and get a good read in.

I was determined to get at least 5 good books in this summer.

I accomplished my goal and then some :)

I decided to share my list incase anyone is looking for a good read!

These were all great books and I would recommend all of them!

National Dog Day!

So I hear that today is National Dog Day!

So happy dog day to all my fellow pups and dog parents!

In honor of today being National Dog Day,

I decided to post a few of my favorite products that I use on my own fur baby, Kiza.

In the picture above I have 2 different brushes, paw butter, dry shampoo, & toothpaste.

I never noticed a different brand of dog toothpaste, but I have noticed they have the liquid.

I prefer the gel (even though she hates it)

I feel it really cleans the teeth not just giving the breath a good smell.

I just recently bought the Pet Head paw butter, it smells delicious and it works super well!

The no-rinse waterless shampoo is coconut lime verbena,

it is made by WAHL Home Products,

I use this in between Kiza's trips to the groomer.

I usually put the shampoo all over and use the green Rush Brush to really scrub the shampoo in.

After, I dry her with a towel and then use the 2 sided brush to brush out the extra fur!

Summer Activities

 

Summer is almost to an end but we still have about 2.5 weeks until school starts back up (for college) and I figured we all could use a nice list of activities we can get done before summer is over! Since I live in Massachusetts, some of these activities only really apply to us Bostonians but not all :)

Jet skiing

Parasailing

Boat rides (I took one in Newport, such a nice day trip!)

Helicopter ride (also done in Newport, so much fun!)

Patriots training camp

Patriots pre-season game

Red Sox Game

Slide the city (coming this Saturday, August 22^nd, I hear it is awesome!)

Visit Plymouth and walk the jetty

Take the ferry to the Vineyard

Kayak

Eat on the waterfront

Theme parks

Swan Boats (in Boston)

Castle Island (in Boston)

Water Fire (Providence)

 

I hope you get to experience some fun before school starts back up again!

Today I decided I would bring my laptop to work and during lunch I would research some blog tips and tricks.

I got carried away and ended up on one of my favorite websites Love and War Clothing to check the re-opening date which is Saturday, August 22nd!

I cannot wait!

Motivational Monday's!

 

Every Sunday night I will scroll through Pinterest, Google, and Instagram to find a motivational/ inspirational quote about life for my best friends, my cousins, my mom and my husband. Every person gets a different quote which applies to their life/situation at the time being.
